Early voting has already begun for this year’s 2024 Democratic Party primary election, and most candidates are running uncontested within the party. For the races that are contested, you can read below to find our recommendations.
November’s General Election will focus on local candidates and state-wide issues. From enshrining reproductive rights and health care into the Ohio constitution (Yes on Issue 1!) to funding programs and services for neighbors with disabilities, read on for our recommendations on who and what to vote for, including a sample ballot for Stow.

Last week, the Ohio House and Senate passed House Bill 99 (HB99), which would allow teachers and staff to bring guns to school with less than 24 hours of training. Supposedly, if teachers can arm themselves, they can stop school shootings from happening, or intensifying, which is ridiculous, and dangerous to everyone involved.
