Raised in Stow, Ohio and a current resident of Munroe Falls, Tina has extensive experience in school safety, government finance, and school facilities. Tina has been serving a partial term on the BoE since January 2025 after filling a board vacancy left after Nancy Binzel’s resignation. Born and raised in Stow, Ohio, Kathrine is a fierce advocate for children’s education and wellbeing. Kathrine, who served as a English/Language Arts teacher for many years, as well as a coach for the Speech and Debate Team, is currently self employed in the mental health field, with her services focusing on children and adolescents. Calling all Stow-Munroe Falls LGBTQIA+ students, staff, friends, families, and community allies! Share your stories and your support for the Pride Month Resolution!
At the most recent Board of Education Meeting, Dr. Pamela Wind proposed the Pride Month Resolution, which would recognize June as Pride Month in Stow-Munroe Falls City Schools, while also laying out some concrete action steps to make sure LGBTQIA+ students and staff are in a safe and accommodating environment at school.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Stow Collaboration for Change has obtained information via a public records request that shows Stow Munroe-Falls Board of Education Member, Gerry Bettio, who is currently running for re-election, became physically aggressive with a school employee during a strategic planning meeting on May 25, 2021.
